Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the United States for the past forty years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then, she appeared on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. The same year, she debuted her debut musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise made her foray into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The next notable role she portrayed as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her for in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber in contrast to the glamour doll image she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years, she's also become an acclaimed director of well-known television series such as Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 27th August, 1965. Her family moved to Toronto when she was three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and has lived there since.
