Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie is the sole female who has ever won in the CrossFit Games two times. She was second in both the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. The media has praised her for being the first woman ever to win the two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013 and 2013. Annie was brought up by her parents at Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and started working out at the age of five. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir will be aged 31 (by the year 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie started CrossFit in California, in 2009. Annie did very well in her first games, finishing within the top 10. But she did not take home any titles and ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. Because of her exceptional performance, she was able to claim the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie was a winner, having an outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to win each of the CrossFit Games. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 as well as the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her.
